An area north of the bushfire has been declared a disaster area and firefighters are warning people not to enter bush areas.
Queensland Premier Campbell Newman says an emergencyapronx situation is unfolding in the Tarra Federal Highway area.
He warned that there is a strong possibility smoke could appear in the state next week.
«We need to be alert to possible threats of fire which could increase further if conditions don’t improve,» he said.
«I’m hoping to have an update on (Tuesday) with emergency services, the fire service and police about where it may go and then we’ll be able to assess if there’s any further need for immediate evacuation.»
He said the state was well 바카라aware of smoke, and fires being stoked by people, and the situation had been managed well.
He said that the weather forecast in the coming weeks would probably see smoke being driven out of the state as winter approached.

Liam Rudd’s spokesman said Mr Rudd had not yet heard of the situation in the Tarra Federal Highway area.
«If that is true, then he will be aware of the situation as soon as circumstances suggest they should be,» spokesman Matt Thorne said.
The Premier said the decision to keep the region under emergency emergency management could also help the cause of the firefighting effort.
Mr Thorne said he was not aware if the Federal Government had made it clear to the Queensland Government what to do with the fire.
